Job Description | 1. Prepare and monitor monthly production plans. 2. Plan and monitor day to day production plans. 3. Improvement of product quality, productivity and solvent recoveries. 4. Process optimization. 5. Arrange new available resources like manpower, utility, equipment etc. 6. Reporting of incidences / abnormalities / failures in plant to the superiors. 7. Carry out investigations with reference to lower yields & abnormalities in processing. 8. Assist to QA dept for customer complaints. 9. New molecules co-ordination with Tech Transfer. 10. Equipment selection for new facility / modification. 11. To ensure that GMP practices and safety are followed in the plant. 12. Planning of production trials for new molecules with Tech Transfer. 13. Impart job training of Production Executives, Officers and Chemists. 14. Review Production SOPs prepared by Executive. 15. Training to Asst. Manager and below level on department SOPs, New Products, Validation, Equipment Qualification etc. 16. Management of Planned and unplanned deviation, change control, SOP revision etc. 17. Coordinate with HR, QA, QC, Warehouse and EHS Dept. 18. Review of online documentations. 19. Coordination with Maintenance dept for preventive maintenance of equipment. 20. Review and authorize batch manufacturing records for submission to QA. 21. Ensure discipline within the team in the plant. 22. Daily and monthly reports to superiors. |
Desired Profile | 1) Knowledge of handling of various equipments like, Reactors, Dryers, Sifters, Glassware handling etc. 2) Good Knowledge of Chemistry / process and critical parameters. 3) Awareness of cGMP (All regulatory guidelines), Environmental Safety and Plant safety. 4) Knowledge of various Isolators handling. 5) Knowledge and safe handling of Cytotoxic products. 6) Knowledge on Disposal of Cytotoxic waste. 7) Good supervisory and leadership skills. |
