Job Description

a. Responds to unsolicited Medical Information requests from healthcare professionals and colleagues to provide balanced, scientific and relevant medical/product information. The internal customers include but not limited to Medical advisors, regulatory and PV manager, Business development colleagues and marketing and sales colleagues

b. Evaluates incoming Medical Information Requests for creation and/or updating of Standard Response Letters

c. Responsible for the timely development and review of scientifically accurate Standard Response Letters within therapeutic specialty

d. Collects, analyzes, and communicates fair-balanced information concerning therapeutic area, treatment options, emerging standards of care, and competitive intelligence

e. Attends and serves as a medical information resource at key medical and scientific conferences, and internal meetings as required

f. Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of products, therapeutic area, including related disease states and co-morbid medical conditions, and other therapeutic options within relevant disease states

g. Is the key contact for Affiliate Quality Systems (AQS) and maintains, updates and implements the quality procedures and policies as defined.
